No Rest For The Wicked

No Rest For The Wicked is a multiplayer, top down, fantasy RPG, created by Moon Studios. Available now in Early Access.

While at Moon Studios I worked at a Quest Designer where I wrote and implemented numerous side quests. I was also responsible for branching the divide between Level Design and Narrative Design. I helped develop areas of the world to be suitable to the needs of the narrative while retaining existing work and intentions from level designers.

There were numerous narrative efficiency improvements I designed and prototyped while

at Moon Studios. These included improved dialogue systems, waypoint systems, journal entry systems, localisation methods etc. The intention being to streamline the process for implementing quests as well as to allow our writers, who had little to no in engine experience, the ability to implement and test their own work.

I was also lucky enough to work alongside Moon Studios animators and helped set up some of the early cutscenes in the game.
